Ghana international goalkeeper Sammy Adjei says he has agreed to play for dethroned Ghana Premier League champions Hearts of Oak next season to revive his international career.

Adjei has been unattached since Israeli side Ashdod Moaden refused him a contract renewal in 2008.

The 29-year-old signed a contract with Hearts last year but never manned the post and was later reported to be on the radar of South Africa's Premier Soccer League side Maritzburg.

The former Ghana second choice goalkeeper has stated in desire to return to club football before hanging up his gloves.

"My mind to play for Hearts of Oak has been made up as this is the best place for me If I want to rekindle my professional career," Adjei told 90 minutes.

Adjei has also been linked to newly-promoted Tudu Mighty Jets and AshantiGold Football Club.
