Seven Division One clubs secure sponsorship from Soccabet

Ghana's Premier Sports betting Company Soccabet has announced a sponsorship package for seven Division One clubs. 

The Company will provide financial support, financial package together with equipment will be allocated to the local clubs to strengthen their performances, support club finances, partner with the communities to engage youth talent in sports and ultimately, to provide regional and national competition opportunities for the players.

Some of the Clubs to receive support from Soccabet include New Edubiase FC ( New Edubiase); Proud United (Sekondi); Techiman City F/C (Techiman); Vipers F/C (Cape Coast); Young Apostles (Sunyani) ; Accra Young Wise ( Kasoa); All Blacks ( Swedru).

Accra - June 4th, 2018 -  SOCCABET, Ghana’s premier sports betting company announces its support for a number of Division One League Clubs. Management confirmed that a financial package together with equipment will be allocated to the local clubs to strengthen their performances, support club finances, partner with the communities to engage youth talent in sports and ultimately, to provide regional and national competition opportunities for the players.

The various clubs, representing strong passionate football communities, are hoping to utilize the support to adopt innovative player-centric programmes to build a competitive platform for the overall development of football within their respective communities. Some of the Clubs to receive support from Soccabet include New Edubiase FC ( New Edubiase); Proud United (Sekondi); Techiman City F/C (Techiman); Vipers F/C (Cape Coast); Young Apostles (Sunyani) ; Accra Young Wise ( Kasoa); All Blacks ( Swedru).

The management of SOCCABET confirms that this financial gesture is in line with the company’s vision and commitment to supporting local sports and to improving the performance and quality of youth skills and talent within the  league thereby, making it attractive to more sponsors.

Soccabet’s funding to the Division One League Clubs comes on the back of a similar corporate commitment the company made towards four Premiership Clubs in the Ghana Premier League which was launched earlier this year.

General Manager for Soccabet, Imad Hawwach stated “Our support of the Division One League Clubs and our commitment to contributing to player development is to help cultivate the full potential of the teams which will enable them graduate and transition into the Premier League and subsequently, into the National Team. We recently witnessed this during the second player transfer window of the Ghana Premier League where a number of top Clubs picked players from the Division One League to boost their competitiveness ahead of the second round of the GPL. This support is expected to motivate these clubs to go all out and compete for honors.”
