Asante Kotoko forward Songne Yacouba says he has a lot to offer to the club following his recent fantastic performances in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

The Burkinabe international joined the Porcupine Warriors prior the start of the campaign but missed the early parts of the league due to delay in the arrival of his International Transfer Certificate  (ITC).

However, the 24-year-old excelled on his debut for the Reds over the weekend in their 1-0 against sworn rivals Hearts of Oak before serving the Porcupine faithful with yet another scintillating display in their 3-1 loss in midweek against Karela FC.

In an interview with Oyerepa FM, the former Etoile Filante forward reveled in his performance, though he pointed out that there will be much more in their subsequent games when he gels with the team's philosophy.

"I felt very good, praying God gives me strength to play like this always after staying off the pitch for about 6 months," he told Oyerepa FM.

"My colleagues are not used to my style of play and so we will be training to get used to each other, I will be telling them how I want the balls to be given to me, putting the ball on the ground so I can make a lot of movements taking defenders on so I can score.

"I thank all the supporters who came to watch us, next time I will make them happy, make them feel okay. They should continue to support the team, the players, I promise we will win the league for them," he deduced.

Yacouba represented his country at the WAFU Cup of Nations tournament hosted and won by Ghana in September last year.
