Sulley Muntari says he wants to stay with AC Milan after impressing during his five-month loan stint with the Italian giants.

Thw 27-year-old, who moved to AC Milan from city rivals Inter in Janaury, is now a free agent as his contract with Inter Milan has expired.

Muntari massively impressed while on loan with AC Milan and scored three times in 13 matches which seems to have raised some eyebrow within Inter management who want him back.

But the Ghana stand-in captain says he doesn't want to return to Inter insisting he want a permanent deal with AC Milan.

Asked if he wants to return to Inter, Muntari said: “Inter? No, I want AC [Milan].”

Inter signed Muntari from Portsmouth in 2008 for a fee of €14 million.

But the player never came close to justifying his price tag and was repeatedly linked with several clubs.

Manchester United, Napoli and Galatasaray were said to have been interested in signing Muntari.
