DR Congo giants Tout Puissant Mazembe are on the verge of completing a double swoop for Ghanaian midfielders Prince Nana Kwesi Darmang and Najeeb Abass.

The duo who were reported to be closing in on moves to the two most glamorous clubs in Ghana, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko during the transfer window, could finalize a move to the Ravens as free agents after impressing the technical heads of the club in training.

Darmang trained with Hearts of Oak during the close season and was reported to be close to landing a dream move to the club but the deal foiled at the last minute.

Reports claim that he will appear before the Ghana FA Player Status Committee on Thursday after which he will join Mazembe as a free agent.

Meanwhile, Abass was also on trials with the Porcupine Warriors and was part of the registered squad for the GHALCA G-8 competition but failed to impress the then coach Steven Polack, hence was not registered.

TP Mazembe recently cleared out all five Ghanaians – Gladson Awako, Kissi Boateng, Yaw Frimpong, Daniel Nii Adjei and Solomon Asante on their books after spending between 4 and 5 seasons with them.
