Striker Prince Tagoe will start training with Accra Hearts of Oak next week, according to reports in the Ghanaian media.

Hearts of Oak head coach Herbert Addo is not satisfied with the state of his strikeforce and has requested to assess the form of the former TSG Hoffenheim forward.

Tagoe is in Ghana after ending his contract with Malaysian side Kelantan and failing to secure another move abroad.

Hearts officials were not impressed with the output of Gerald Odupong and Gilbert Fiamenyo in their GHALCA top-four loss against Heart of Lions and have suggested their former striker is brought on board.

The 27-year-old striker who played at the 2010 FIFA World Cup for Ghana played for Hearts in the 2004/05 season and bagged 21 goals in all competitions for the club.
