Udinese president Franco Sodalti has squashed rumours that the club's star midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah is on his way out of the Stadio Friuli.

The 22-year-old Ghana international has been a subject of transfer speculations in the close season with Italian champions AC Milan and English side Manchester City all mentioned as possible suitors.

But the Udine have revealed that Asamoah will remain to help the club's Uefa Champions League campaign next season.

"Juve are closer to Inler, but on the transfer market anything can happen. Kwadwo Asamoah will stay with Udinese."
