In-form Jordan Ayew and his elder brother Andre who has just returned to the club were part of the Swansea team that sharpened their skills ahead of this weekend’s game.

Jordan is currently the best player for Swans having led from the front to get victories against Liverpool and Arsenal in the month of January.

There have been muted talks of a contract extension if they stay up which is an indication of how well he has grown and delivered since arriving at the club just a little over a year ago.

The Ghanaian has five goals to his name that is one more than Tammy Ibrahim who started the season with a bang with the Ghanaian having a further three assists to his name.

His elder brother Andre who is the clubs record signing is beginning to find his feet after a rather disappointing spell at West Ham United.

The 28-year-old was given a rapturous welcome on his second debut for the club against Burnley last week and will be hoping to get back to his best in the coming days.

He scored five goals in the first half of the season whiles at West Ham United and should be delighted if he can get another five for Swansea who are fighting for their top-flight status.

Having looked destined for the drop under former manager Paul Clement the Swans have suddenly been sprung into life with the arrival of witty, tactical and brilliant Portuguese manager Carlos Carvalhal.

His analogies and man management have been key to Swansea’s new found form which has aided them to just one defeat in their last seven league games.

A rich vein of form that has seen them sping from bottom of the pit to 15th on the league table with a little over 12 games to play.
