Ghana striker Joel Fameyeh scored for his side Dinamo Brest to beat BATE Borisov 3-2 to win the Belarus FA Cup final on Sunday.

The former Ghana U20 striker grabbed the crucial 2-2 equaliser as his side twice from behind to secure the victory for their third FA Cup title in the history of the competition.

The decisive cup match, which was held for the first time in Mogilev, began without any chance for the two sides to size the opponents.

Both teams immediately went on the attack and tried to quickly achieve success.

At the 13th minute, Borisov managed to do it when they took advantage of the goalkeeper Alexander Gutor's mistake and Mirko Ivanich opened the scoring.

Passing the ball, the Dinamo rushed to equalise by creating several dangerous situations at the post of Denis Shcherbytsky. And in the 33rd minute Artem Milevsky drew his side level.

In the second half, the two sides did not sit back to defend and just after 3 minutes Mirko Ivanich completed his brace, effectively sending the ball into the net - 2: 1 in favor of BATE.

The Brest side did not give up, and at the end of the 75th minute Joel Famaye drew his side level - the second time in the game before his team-mate his a late winner.

Prior to this title success Brest won the Cup in 2007 and 2017.
