Asante Kotoko were in the news for the right and wrong reasons after failing to convert three of the four penalties awarded them in their CAF Champions League opener against CARA Brazzaville on Sunday.
The Porcupines had the first spot-kick awarded them in the sixth minute but striker Saddick Adams shot wide.
Back from recess, Kotoko got another penalty but expert and captain Amos Frimpong had his kick saved.
Midfielder Baba Mahama was next as his missed from 12 yards.
