Chief Executive Officer of Wa All Stars Oduro Nyarko has disclosed the reasons behind their abysmal start to the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

The former Ghana Premier League champions are going through torrid times in the league after picking just one win, four draw and six losses in 11 rounds of games - as they languish bottom of the log.

The Northern Blues were dealt a bad blow on Monday  Sarfo Castro resigned from his position as head coach of the team after failing to decode the source of the team's woes.

But the club's CEO insists their plight in the season has been the wholesome changes made to the playing body during the off-season.

“As an administrator, if you do everything to make sure your team gets better and the results don't come, it becomes frustrating” Oduro told Oyerepa FM.

“The basic thing is that, the strength of our team has gone down because as many as eight or nine core players have left."

“If as a team you have eight to nine players leaving and you bring in new ones, it will be difficult for them to blend. That’s the basic problem we are having."

“All is not lost. We are working around the clock to make sure we get things working again.”
