Newly promoted Premier League side Wassaman United have chosen the Sekondi Gyandu Park as the venue to honour their home matches, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Issues bothering on maximizing the club's support base which will hopefully translate into match attendance were given as reasons for the choice of venue in a letter sent to the PLB on Wednesday.

The case of accessibility which hopefully will have a multiplier effect on the game, in terms of creating good football atmosphere was also captured as one of the reasons in the letter.

The decision is in direct contrast with one of the PLB which initially chose the Essipong Stadium without Wassaman's consent.
