Ghanaian midfielder Yahaya Seidu is eyeing a call-up into any of the national teams after his blistering displays helped Maccabi Haifa clinch the Israeli league title.

The defensive midfielder has been one of the few Ghanaian best perfomers in Europe this season.

Siedu, a member of the 2007 Ghana Under-20 team which failed to qualify for the African Youth Championship, is yet to feature for any national team since.

The 21-year-old who will play in the prestigious Uefa Champions League next season says he is ready for the big shot if given the opportunity.

He told GHANAsocernet.com: "Football is not about talk, but about what you can show on the field and so if I'm given the chance, and then I can also display my abilities."

"It is the dream of every player for the national team and I’ve always believed God's time is the best.

"We have won the league and I'm glad with my progress and how I have performed for my club and hopefully I will get the chance to wear the national team jersey."

The ex-Tema Youth and AEK Athens player will be the first Ghanaian this season to complete the double with vicory in the State Cup next week Wednesday against Hapoel Tel Aviv.
