Asante Kotoko defender Yaw Frimpong has been recalled into the Ghana squad, less than 24 hours after news of his exclusion broke out, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The right-back was strangely left behind on Sunday day when the first batch of officials and players flew out to Nairobi, Kenya for camping.
He will board the same flight as late invitee Rashid Sumaila to join the rest of the team on Tuesday morning.
The former Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy graduate has left Kotoko's camp and to make the trip.
The Ghana FA is yet to communicate what accounted for the discrepancy.
