Spanish club Real Zaragoza are lurking to make a January swoop for Asante Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure.

Toure, 24, is set to hold talks with Egyptian club Al Masry this week over a permanent deal but the Spanish outfit have also expressed interest.

“Zaragoza are looking at the Al Masry deal with keen interest,” a source told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“They are hoping that deal falls through so they can make a move but it is very tight since the Egyptian club are committed to signing Toure.”

Toure who won last season’s Most Valuable Player Award is currently Kotoko’s leading goal scorer in the current campaign with six goals from the ten games played so far.
