Ghana's home-based Black Stars completed their mandatory training session which was also their first at the Stadé du 4 Aout in Ouagadougou ahead of the clash with the Local Stallions of Burkina Faso on Saturday.

Head coach James Kwasi Appiah and his assistant took the team through series of exercises with the players having a feel of the field which will be used for the game tomorrow.

The players were first made to walk all over the field to have a feel of pitch before kicking the balls around to have an impression on how playing on the surface will be like.

Coach Maxwell Konadu expressed optimism ahead of the game tomorrow saying they are poised for action after tasting the pitch.

"The field is good just that the grass is heavy but they have mowed it well for the game tomorrow. The only challenge is that such pitches make movements slow but we ready for the kill tomorrow," Maxwell told the media after the training session.

All the eighteen players trained with no injury in camp.
