2019/20 Ghana Premier League: Week 5 Match Preview — Elmina Sharks v Great Olympics
Elmina Sharks

Elmina Sharks will return home to the Ndoum Stadium to clear week 5 league encounter with Great Olympics with the hopes of continuing from where they left off in midweek.

Sharks recorded their first victory of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League when they inflicted a shock 3-2 defeat on Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

The Elmina-based side will hope to keep the form they exhibited in Accra when they welcome Great Olympics to the Ndoum Stadium on Sunday.

Both sides have met twice in the top-flight, with Olympics having the upper hand over their counterparts.

During the 2017 campaign, the Dade Boys played 2-2 against Sharks in Accra before traveling to the Ndoum Stadium to pip them 1-0. Therefore going into the Week 5 encounter, Olympics will be brimming with confidence.

Great Olympics themselves bagged their maiden win in the ongoing season after beating Karela United 2-0 on Thursday.

According to their coach, Prince Goerge Koffie, his outfit will build on the win to turn their season around, starting with a victory against Elmina Sharks.

Sharks lie 10th with 4 points and Olympics sit 14th with 3 points after four matches played each.
