Accra Great Olympics defeated Inter Allies 1-0 in match day six of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League to record their second win of the season.

The ‘dade boys’ have set sights on climbing the table following their poor start to the season.

The game started with Olympics making early incursions to score.

Inter Allies goalkeeper George Apronti pulled a brilliant save to deny Olympics the opener in the 10th minute.

Apronti had to be substituted from the game after picking up an injury and was replaced by Nyarko Augusto Ofori.

Olympics were finally rewarded with their constant pressure at goal and scored the opener in the 28th minute through Sackey Philip Nii Kojo.

Inter Allies nearly got the equalizer but Kingsley Braye’s effort went wide.

Braye also got another chance but his effort hit the post.

Joshua Opoku denied Inter Allies from scoring with his constant saves in the box.

Olympics pressed for more goals in the second half but the Inter Allies defence was up to task to deny the home side from scoring.

Inter Allies star man Victorien Adebayor was kept quite on the day by the Olympics defenders.
