2019/2020 COPPA ITALIA DRAW

The 2019/2020 Coppa Italia draw will take place today at 15:00 CEST, at Lega Serie A in Milan.

The Competition is attended by 78 Clubs (all the Teams admitted to the Serie A and Serie B championships, 29 Clubs reported by Lega Pro and 9 by Lega Nazionale Dilettanti), which will be placed on a tennis-style board with seats from n. 1 to n. 78.

The 2019/2020 Coppa Italia will start on Sunday 4 August with the First Round and it will finish on Wednesday 13 May with the Coppa Italia Final.

Each tie is played as a single leg, with the exception of the two-legged semi-finals. The single matches are played on the field of the Team which has been assigned the position on the board marked by the lowest number. The exceptions to the above are the possible challanges of the Round of 16, the Quarter-finals and the Semi-finals that take place between a Serie A TIM "Seeded Team" and a Serie A TIM Club inserted in the table in positions 9 to 20, in which In this case the competition field is always determined by drawing lots.

The Teams will enter the competition in four different moments:

* FIRST ROUND (04/08/2019) - 36 Teams participate:
- 9 Clubs from LND: Adriese, Città di Fasano, Fanfulla, Lanusei, Mantova, Matelica, Ponsacco, Sanremese, Turris.
- 27 Clubs from Lega Pro: Alessandria, Arezzo, Carrarese, Casertana, Catania, Catanzaro, Cavese, Feralpisalò, Fermana, Imolese, L.R. Vicenza, Monopoli, Monza, Novara, Piacenza, Potenza, Pro Patria, Pro Vercelli, Ravenna, Reggina, Rende, Robur Siena, Sambenedettese, Sudtirol, Triestina, Virtus Francavilla, Viterbese Castrense.

* SECOND ROUND (11/08/2019) - 40 Teams participate, the 18 Clubs that won the First Round, 2 Teams from Lega Pro (Carpi and Padova) and 20 Clubs from Lega B: Ascoli, Benevento, ChievoVerona, Cittadella, Cosenza, Cremonese, Crotone, Empoli, Frosinone, Juve Stabia, Livorno, Perugia, Pescara, Pisa, Pordenone, Salernitana, Spezia, Trapani, Venezia, Virtus Entella.

* THIRD ROUND (18/08/2019) - 32 Teams participate, the 20 Clubs that won the Secon Round and 12 Teams from Serie A TIM: Bologna, Brescia, Cagliari, Fiorentina, Genoa, Hellas Verona, Lecce, Parma, Sampdoria, Sassuolo, Spal, Udinese.

The 16 winners of the Third Elimination Round will play the Fourth Round on Wednesday 4 December 2019.

The 8 seeded teams (Atalanta, Inter, Juventus, Lazio, Milan, Napoli, Roma, Torino) in Coppa Italia 2019/2020 draw, will enter in Round of 16 scheduled for 15 and 22 January 2020 addressing the qualified teams from the Fourth Round.
