AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino could be heading for the exit door, with MLS club DC United interested.

The 30-year-old was a last-minute addition to the Rossoneri back in the summer of 2011, as he joined the club in the final hour of the transfer window from Palermo for €500,000.

DC United’s management have reportedly visited Milan’s training facility Milanello to watch the player, and have also briefly spoken with both his wife and agent.

The club have reportedly offered a two-year contract to the former Juventus man.

There are also reports claiming that Milan legend Ricardo Kaka has spoken with Nocerino personally in an attempt to lure the 30-year-old to his club Orlando City.

Nocerino enjoyed a successful campaign in his first season at the club, as he made 35 Serie A appearances, scoring 10 goals and making one assist and he also scored a goal against Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

But following the exit of key players in the summer of 2012, Nocerino’s reputation has plummeted drastically and he was loaned out to Torino, West Ham United and Parma.
