AC Milan sign Kevin Constant to replace crocked Muntari

AC Milan have signed Kevin Constant from Genoa to replace Sulley Muntari who will be out for six months.

The Ghana international was operated on on Wednesday after suffering a cruciate ligament inury in his knee.

His absence has dealt a massive blow to Milan's ambitions of wrestling back the Serie-A title from Juventus.

The Rossoneri have thus secured the services of the 25-yearold Guinean on an initial loan deal with an option of an outright buy to ease the problem caused by Muntari's injury.

The former Portsmouth and Udinese player was expected to play a leading role in the upcoming campaign.

He signed a permanent two-year deal with Milan which he earned after impressing in a six-month loan stint from Inter.
