Ghana’s capital is filled with numerous activities and excitement ahead of the top of the league clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.

All major roads leading to the Accra Sports Stadium (the venue for Sunday’s titanic duel) is filled with frantic scenes hours before the big kickoff.

Almost every vehicle is clad in the colours of the two clubs with their respective fans also sharply decorated in either replica jerseys or flags.

The various ticket sale points at the stadium are choked with long queues while hawkers do their brisk business of providing essentials such as food and drinks while other take the opportunity to cash in by the sale of club paraphernalia.

A win for either side on Sunday will guarantee their place on the league’s summit and will more importantly win the bragging rights at least until the next encounter next year in Kumasi.
