AFC Wimbledon forward Kwesi Appiah poised for Kenya clash

Forward Kwesi Appiah has declared his readiness for the Black Stars game against Kenya on Saturday. 

The 28-year old returns to the senior national team after a four year absence, and was part of coach Kwesi Appiah team that trained on Tuesday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The striker, who is delighted with the call up posted on Twitter,"Preparations Begin!

The Wimbledon attacker is confident of gate crushing the coach Kwesi Appiah team for the Nations Cup in Egypt this year.

The ex-Crystal Palace player made a return from injury a fortnight ago, but has not featured for AFC Wimbledon in their last two games before leaving for national assignment.

Meanwhile, twenty two players have reported to camp for the game on Saturday against the Harambee Stars of Kenya.

Ghana needs a win against Kenya to finish the qualifiers at the top of the table.

The team will fly to Kigali on Monday for an international friendly against Rwanda.
