Talented CD Numancia attacker Yaw Yeboah has advised his Black Meteors teammates to eschew complacency ahead of their Africa U-23 Championship qualifier against Togo.

Ghana will host neighbours Togo on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the first leg of the U-23 AFCON qualifier.

The 21-year-old is one of seven foreign-based players named in Coach Ibrahim Tanko's squad for the game against their Togolese counterparts.

Yeboah, who joined the team on Monday ahead of the clash, believes they have enough arsenals in their rank to trample over their opponents but says it will be dangerous on their parts to go into the game feeling overconfident.

"I only joined the team yesterday but I felt the quality we have and the coach looked to be on point with his tactics. It's a nice feeling being part of this group and I hope we can make history though it will not be a stroll in the park," Yeboah told GHANAsoccernet.com

"Tough I believe we have experienced players who are playing in some of the top leagues in the world; we cannot underestimate our opponents because we don't know much about them. We have to be humble in our approach to the match and hope we find luck but my gut tells me we'll win the game."

The Black Meteors last qualified for the Olympic Games in 2004 but would have to secure a spot in Egypt 2019 to have a chance of reaching Tokyo 2020.
