The management agency of Afriyie Acquah, ArthurLegacy, has seemingly suggested that the new contract talks with Torino did breakdown and the player will be changing clubs with Empoli said to be his next destination.
ArthurLegacy has tweeted the Ghana international is due for medical shortly.
GHANASoccernet.com understands a deal has been agreed with Empoli and Acquah will join them on loan after passing a medical on Friday, one year to the end of his contract at Torino.
The Turin club will get a loan fee as compensation believed to be in excess of €1,000,000.
ArthurLegacy’s official twitter handle preempted that there will be a big announcement on the ‘champion midfielder’ shortly, adding the hashtags #Torino #TransferNews to confirm its a transfer deal, possibly away from Torino.
It had emerged that Acquah was willing to extend his beyond summer 2019 but ,Torino offered what the player believed was a no improved contract to keep him at the Stadio Olimpico Grande.
