Speaking on behalf of his client, the agent of Fiorentina striker Nikola Kalinic has revealed he is confident the player can return to his early season form after a recent dip in his performance levels.
The 28-year-old has scored 10 league goals so far during this campaign but has failed to find the net in any of the Gigliati’s last three fixtures following the mid-season break.
“After the break, in the three games he hasn’t scored in, Nikola hasn’t played like before, but it happens in football,” agent Tomislav Erceg told Radio Bruno Toscana.
“Should he have a striker partner? Fiorentina know better than me as they work with him every day. We just hope the team can recover and he can return to the way he was playing before.
“The upcoming game against Torino will be very important.”
