Agent of footballer who died in Zambia unaware of KYSA trials

Agent of Ghanaian footballer Justice Salasi Oko who died in Zambia has revealed he was unaware of the player's trials with KYSA. 

Justice Selasi, son of former Member of Parliament for La Dadekotopon Godfried Ako-Nai collapsed and died during a trial with Kitwe Youth Soccer Academy earlier this year.

His agent, Frank Sifundi disclosed after the Ghanaian failed his original trial he asked him to return to Ghana only for the 25 year old to make a U-turn and had his own trials.

"After he was not signed by Roan United, I advised him to travel to Ghana but without my knowledge he contacted a friend at KYSA to attend trials," he said in Kitwe.

"What I knew was he had traveled to Ghana. I was called by the manager of KYSA to be informed of his death," he added.

Sifundi also revealed he was introduced to Ako-Nai by a partner in Nigeria.

Justice Selasi Ako played for Heart of Lions and Bechem United in Ghana.
