Agyemang-Badu makes Udinese bench, fully fit for Nations Cup action

Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is fully fit to play at the Africa Cup of Nations after being named in the Udinese side which beat Cesena 4-1 on Sunday in the Serie A.

The 21-year-old was sidelined for three weeks after picking a knock in a Uefa Europa League Cup game against Scottish giants Celtic in December.

Badu was an unused substitute signaling his readiness to return to action.

The enforcer together with Kwadwo Asamoah were permitted by the Ghana to remain with Udinese for this game.

The duo are due to fly out Rustenburg, South Africa where the Black Stars team are camping for the Nations Cup.

Badu is expected to play a key role in Ghana's campaign at the 2012 Nations Cup.
