Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu was in action for Udinese in their 4-0 thrashing of Portosummaga in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday.

A brace by Luis Muriel and two more from Paulo Vitor Barreto and Maicosuel proved too much for the third tier club before 1500 spectators at Villa Santina.

Agyemang-Badu who was used in a more advanced role by coach Francesco Guidolin lasted 65 minutes.

The Ghana international is expected to be handed more responsibilities in the team following the departure of Kwadwo Asamoah and Mauricio Isla to Juventus.

Wednesday’s win over Portosummaga is the third successive pre-season victory for the Zebras as they prepare for an expected fierce contest this term.

Udinese next plays Atalanta in another warm up game on Saturday.
