Ex-player of Asante Kotoko Frimpong Manso has advised Charles Kwabla Akunnor to maintain the two central defenders that played for the team ahead of their game against Al Hilal on Sunday.

Ishmail Ganiyu paired with Wahab Adams at the back in the game against Nkana for Asante Kotoko.

The two central defenders ensured Kotoko did not concede in the game.

The Porcupine Warriors recorded their second win in the competition by 3-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in match day four of the CAF Confederation Cup.

According to the newly appointed Nkoranza Warriors FC head coach, the introduction of Wahab Adams helped as the team were solid at the back.

“I think the introduction of Wahab Adams to the defense of Kotoko was really good, He played very well , maintaining that pair of defenders could help the course of the club, he told Light FM

He also praised Daniel Darkwah for his wonderful display in the game.

“Also, Daniel Darkwah did very well, his surging runs, passes and cross was simply brilliant. All he needs is consistency in playing more matches".

"Kotoko played splendidly in the first half but their second half was the problem. I believe going forward with help of the coach CK Akonnor, he will improve their second half", he added.
