Alfred Duncan could spend some time on the sidelines after suffering a knock in US Sassuolo's goalless draw with Inter Milan in the Italian Serie A on Saturday evening.

Duncan was once again impressive at the heart of midfield alongside Stefano Sensi as they put breaks on the Nerazzurri at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

But the Ghanaian hobbled off the pitch with an ankle injury after he was clipped from behind by compatriot Kwadwo Asamoah in the 70th minute.

The 25-year-old was eventually replaced with Moroccan international Mehdi Bourabia two minutes later.

Meanwhile, Asamoah went on to play full throttle for the hosts likewise Kevin Prince Boateng for the Neroverdi.
