Midfielder Alfred Duncan's winter move to Fiorentina is being stalled by the reluctance of young forward Riccardo Sottil to join Sassuolo.

Fiorentina are adding the Italian striker and cash for the Ghana international to join the club in January.

However, the move has been frustrated by Sottil, who is wanted by Sassuolo gaffer Roberto De Zerbi.

Alfred Duncan has been on the radar of La Viola since the opening of the transfer window after AC Milan failed in their attempt to sign the former Inter academy product.

The former Ghana U-20 star is one of the most consistent Black Stars player in Europe, having played 13 times this season and scored a goal for Sassuolo.

He is valued at 20 million Euros.
