Berekum Arsenal secretary Kwesi Effah has launched a blistering attack on captain Kwesi Acheampong for seeking a move away from the club.

Acheampong is believed to be unhappy at the Berekum-based side and wants to try his luck elsewhere.

But officials of the Gunners are incensed with the manner the player has conducted himself in the whole episode and are bent on frustrating any intended move.

He has reportedly applied to the Ghana Football Association for a floating status and that has not gone down well with the management of the club.

The schef scribe has launched a scathing attack on the player by describing his action as wicked.

“He (Acheampong) is a very wicked player and we’ll also ensure he never go anywhere,” Effah told Accra-based Oman FM

“His actions clearly depicts that he does not have the interest of the club at hearts and we will also frustrate him in anyway that we can,”

“He has two more years on his contract and if he says he won’t play, we will make sure he stays at home to serve his contract,”

“No one is blocking his move. But what is wrong if he allow the clubs that are chasing him to talk to us so that we can also get money to run this club,”

“Only wicked people will do what he is doing. We have resolved never to allow him to go until he changes his attitude. Mark my words.”

Acheampong has played for the Gunners for the past five years.
