AS Roma and Nike are proud to present the new away shirt for the 2019-20 season.
The striking new kit, predominantly white, is lit up by a fiery lightning bolt graphic that surges across the front of the shirt.
The design, like the home kit, is inspired by the Roman ‘God of the Sky’ Jupiter – although on this occasion the lightning bolt motif takes centre stage.
It runs from the left shoulder across to the right hip – the shades of crimson and orange illuminating the shirt.
The kit is completed by crimson shorts and white socks, which feature a yellow lightning bolt detail as well as a Nike swoosh and the words ‘AS Roma’ midway up the shin.
“When you combine Roma’s famous colours with the depth of the city’s mythology then you have a really potent mix,” said Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director.
“The lightning theme is a powerful concept for 2019-20 and I think both the home and away kits give fresh takes while staying true to the club’s identity."
The away kit is available to purchase from July 12 and can be bought at AS Roma Stores, asromastore.com, Nike.com and other approved Nike retailers.
