Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan has been unveiled by telecommunication giants Glo as a brand ambassador.

The Sunderland ace is reported to have signed a deal reported to be in the region of US$ 130,000 for a year.

The figure is definitely two times bigger that the amount dished out to the highest paid musician and movie icons (Jackie Appiah, Van Vicker and Nadia Buari).

The 25-year-old has been in Accra since scoring in his side's 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last Sunday for some photo and video shoots.

The Ghana World Cup star becomes the highest paid highest-paid Glo ambassador in Ghana.
