Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko George Amoako has assured that he will work hard to return the club to the echelons of Africa football within two years.

Amoako returned to the Porcupine Warriors as the head of a newly constituted management team earlier this week, having previously served in various capacities.

“Kotoko is a football club. Our teaming fans want to see the team play good football and win, this is basic,” he told FootballmadeinGhana.com.

“My first project is to get Kotoko a winsome team that is capable of winning all matches, 90% of matches that Kotoko will play should be wins.

“You need that as the first step. A winsome side that will play good football, not any kind of football."

“Once you are able to achieve that, all other things will follow."

“It shouldn’t take us more than two years. The supporters of Kotoko only want one thing – win and that is what we must work towards achieving.

George Amoako is joined in the new management by 10 others including Samuel Sarfo Duku, Yaw Amo Sarpong, Isaac Donkor, Caleb Adams and Jerry Pratt Newton.

The others are Edmund Ackah, Nana Kwame Dankwah, Rose Padmore Yeboah, Lucy Josephine Andoh, and Nana Akwasi Gyambibi
