Management has given full authorisation to JIMAHTECH to manage the technical aspects of the Kotoko Express App.

JIMAHTECH developed the club’s newest news portal which was released on Play Store for downloads last month.

The App which will be launched at halftime during the J. A. Kufuor Cup between Asante Kotoko and Ashgold at the Baba Yara Stadium has since been functional.

The George Amoako-led management on Friday met with the management of JIMAHTECH and officially handed them the document that mandates the web developers to provide technical services to the App as the club takes care of content.

The presentation was done on behalf of the club by the Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Kwame Kyei, Nana Kwasi Gyembibi, with the Chief Executive Officer of JIMAHTECH, Dr. Phillip Gyimah, also receiving it on behalf of the partners.

The Kotoko App is the first for any club in Ghana and arguably in Africa.

It offers a wide range of information to users from the history of the club to profile of management members, coaching staff and the playing body.

It also offers running stories on the club’s activities, provides pictures and live coverage and recorded videos of games, training sessions, interviews and official events.
