Asante Kotoko have told resigned coach Paa Kwesi Fabin to pay the money covering the remaining period on his contract to complete his exit from the club.
Fabin announced he was stepping down on Thursday after seven months in-charge of the Porcupine Warriors stating it was time to bow out due to circumstances beyond his control.
A release signed by Chief Executive Officer, George Amoako, has directed Fabin to Section 12.3 of his contract with the club which requires that he pays the money covering the remaining period of the agreement before he could resign.
The clause states: ''If the Head Coach terminates this Agreement before the expiry of the term hereby granted or any extension thereof, he shall to the club the sum equivalent to the sums due him for the unexpired period of the contract.''
