Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has implored the Black Queens to claim victory against Cameroon in today's (Friday) Africa Women's Cup of Nations tournament.

The Queens are in a must win game with Cameroon if they are to progress to the next stage of the ongoing African Women's Championship.

After playing two games and winning one and losing one it puts the Ghana team in a position where they have no other option but to win on Friday.

Gyan, who was at the stadium to watch the team 2-1 against Mali, has urged them to go all out for a win.

"The country is behind them and they shouldn't forget that football at times you can loose and what i want to tell them is that they shouldn't be down because it is part of the game," he told Joy News.

"They should make sure they go there and get a victory for the nation and leave everything to God.

"Their chances of qualifying is very slim i have to be honest but we don't know what will happen so they need to go there and get the win."
