The media in Belgium are worried over Ghana's approach for talented trio in the Jupiler League.

Ghana coach Charles Akonnor has been in the European country, holding talks with Anderlecht duo Jérémy Doku and Francis Amuzu as well as K.A.A. Gent midfielder Elisha Owusu.

There is a sense of fear the three players, who have Ghanaian roots will opt to represent the West African nation at the international level.

Both Doku and Amuzu have played for Belgium at the youth level but are still eligible to represent the Africans at the international level.

The up-close discussions with the three players has sent shivers down the spine of the Belgium media who hold the genuine fears the players will opt for Ghana.

Media reports have suggested Doku and Amuzu in particular will choose Ghana over the Netherlands.

Owusu, who has been a revelation for the Buffaloes since the start of the season, has also featured for France youth team.

At the Les Blues, he is not considered at the moment and so gives Ghana the edge to convince the former Olympique Lyon combative midfielder to represent the country.

Akonnor has been touring Europe, interacting with established and prospective players for the national team.
