Berekum Chelsea assistant coach Yusif Abubakar says the club's major task is to make a mark in next year's Caf Champions League.
Chelsea nicked a 1-0 succes over relegation threatened Real Tamale United to win the Premier League for the first time since they made their landmark in the countryââ¬â¢s top flight league three years ago.
The astonishing feat means the highly unpretentious side will rub shoulders with the continentââ¬â¢s elite and the ex-Heart of Oak boss is relishing that prospect.
He told the club's website: ''We are going to prepare seriously to play in the champions league because that has been the countryââ¬â¢s bane for some time now. Management has penned down names of certain players capable of playing top level football and we want to make a mark in Africa."
