Betway Talent Search team wallop Liberty Professionals 3-0 in friendly

Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals were soundly beaten 3-0 by the Betway Talent Search team in a friendly match played on Wednesday at the Lizzy Sports Complex.

The friendly match is one of many activities put together for the 24 players who were qualified for Betway Talent Search camp.

Holyfield Djanie opened the scoring with a fine effort with Jacob Kingston registering the second.

The goal came from the boots of a Liberty Professionals players.

The 24-man squad selected have been in camp since Saturday 8th September 2018. 

They're being taken through extensive fitness and training sessions, as well as educational seminars on footballer’s, do’s and don’ts, self-introspection, cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) and first aid.

The camp will close on Friday, September 14 where eight winners will be announced.

The eight players will be drafted into the Betway Ghana sponsored clubs; Ashgold Sporting Club, Medeama Sporting Club, Liberty Professionals Football Club and Aduana Stars Football Club.

The Betway Talent Search was introduced in 2017 by the sports betting firm as part of its continuous efforts to develop sports in Ghana.
