Cagliari have announced it has purchased the sporting rights of Valter Birsa from ChievoVerona. The Slovenian midfielder will find his former manager Rolando Maran at his new club. Birsa leaves Verona after 157 Serie A TIM appearances, scoring 18 goals with the Gialloblu.
