Ghana reached the final qualifying for the 2011 All Africa Games as Benin withdrew from the competition at the last minute.
The Black Meteors were scheduled to host Benin in Accra on Sunday in the first leg of the penultimate qualifier.
But a letter from the Confederation of African Football, Caf, confirmed Benin's withdrawal.
Benin's decision to pull out of the two-leg qualifier was expected after they withdrew from the Olympic Games qualifier three weeks ago.
Ghana will play the winner of the two-leg tie between Nigeria-Liberia for a place at the games to be hosted by Mozambique later this year.
