Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko confident of victory against Togo

Head coach of the Ghana U-23 team, Ibrahim Tanko is confident of his side's chances ahead of their AFCON U-23 qualifier against Togo in Kumasi. 

The Black Meteors will host their Togolese counterparts on Tuesday afternoon at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with the second leg of the tie scheduled for Saturday in Lome.

Ahead of the game this afternoon, Ibrahim Tanko remains upbeat of his sides chances.

‘’I believe with the inclusion of the foreign-based players we will have a good team to face Togo and beat them,’’ Tanko told Sportsworldghana.com

‘’In football you can’t always say you are going to beat your by a big margin but I believe that we the few days training that we’ve had and also seeing the players confidence, I am 100% sure that we will have a strong team to face Togo and hope for victory in the first leg and qualify at the end of the return leg in Lome.’’

The winner of the encounter will proceed to play Gabon in the final round of qualifiers for Egypt 2019.
