Black Queens made a poor start to WAFU Women's Cup campaign losing by a lone goal to host nation Ivory Coast.
A second-half strike by the Ivorians was enough to gift them all three points in the highly competitive match played at the Champroux Stadium at Marcoury province on Wednesday, February 14.
The senior women's national team must win their remaining group games against Burkina Faso and Niger to progress to next stage of the competition.
