Black Stars management Committee meet players for the first time

Newly appointed Black Stars Management Committee led by Dr Desmond Kofi Koduah Sarpong met  the team today at the Accra Sports Stadium ahead of the AFCON qualifier against Kenya.

The five member committee led by Dr K.K Sarpong, assisted by Perry Okudzeto who also doubles as the deputy Sports Minister met the players for the first time since their appointment.

Dr K.K Sarpong indicated that the Committee will put in place all necessary measures to ensure they get the necessary support as the team readies to participate in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

The committee will supervise the activities of the Black Stars, and collaborate with the technical team to facilitate all arrangements to ensure the team gets the best of preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Ibrahim Sunday, Mr. Francis Asenso-Boakye and Madam Abena Osei Asare are the other members on the committee.

The Black Stars will take on the Haram bee Stars of Kenya in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on March 23, 2019 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Both teams have qualified for the tournament slated for June in Egypt.

Ghana will be eyeing for the top spot in this encounter as well as a revenge as they lost 1-0 to Kenya in the first leg.
