Bloemfontein Celtic wait to unleash Ransford Osei

Bloemfontein Celtic fans will have to wait a while longer to see new signing Ransford Osei in action.

Osei joined Celtic during the January transfer window after spending a few years in Spain and Israel.

The Ghana Under-20 international was once hailed as one of the brightest prospects in African football after finishing among the top goalscorers at the Under-17 World Cup in 2007.

Celtic coach Clinton Larsen says they are working hard to get Osei to top fitness before unleashing him on the PSL.

“We are still working on his fitness,” Larsen tells KickOff.com. “He is responding well and should be ready to play in two or three weeks.”

Siwelele take on Black Leopards in Limpopo tonight and Larsen has declared a clean bill of health in the camp.

“We had minor injury with Kgotso Moleko, but he has since recovered so everyone is available to play. The mood in the camp is high after our victory against [Golden] Arrows last week and we are looking forward to a great game tonight.”
