German Bundesliga II side Paderborn 07 have completed the signing of Ghanaian defender Philimon Tawiah Macarthy from Tudu Mighty Jets.
The defender signed a two and half year deal with the club after successfully passing his trials.
Macarthy spent time on trials in Portugal with Porto and came close to signing for the Portuguese giants before moving to Germany to complete his switch.
The left back could make his debut for SC Paderborn this weekend when they play VfB Lübeck in the Bundesliga II.
The former Mighty Jets has already played a half-time match for the side in Wolfsburg in November last year on the international break.
He joins Ghanaian compatriot Bernard Tekpetey, who is enjoying an amazing season after scoring seven goals in seven games in the second tier of German football.
