C.K Akunor reveals his son is undecided on whether to play for Ghana

Former captain of the Black Stars Charles Kwabla Akunor has revealed that his son, Charles-Jesaja Herrmann is yet to decide which country to represent at international level. 

The German born Ghanaian has represented Germany, his country of birth at youth levels making him eligible to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.

His father, Akunor who captained the senior national team between 2001 to 2002 indicated the Wolfsburg youngster is yet to decide which country to represent despite playing for Germany at the youth level.

“At this stage it is good for him playing for the U18’s, U19’s [of Germany],” he told Asempa FM.

“When the time comes, we will have to make a decision.”

C.K Akunor spent most of playing career in Germany and featured for several clubs including Wolfsburg and Furtuna Koln.

Meanwhile, Charles-Jesaja Herrmann is yet to break into the senior side of Wolfsburg but has been impressive at the youth side in the current campaign.

The 18 year old is also a striker like his father during his playing days.
